To kick off the new Prosig / SenSound alliance a demo day has been scheduled to give engineers a thorough understanding of the potential available in acoustic testing. Prosig will be teaming with SenSound to provide our customers with a complete acoustic data acquisition system with Prosig P8048 unit & easy to use DATS data acquisition software and a comprehensive true acoustic holography analysis software platform from SenSound.
SenSound’s powerful suite of software tools allow you to measure and see sound in a whole new light. SenSound’s award-winning technology uses acoustic pressure data captured with Prosig P8000 series hardware to create complex 3D surfaces with both stationary and non-stationary sound sources. These can then be used to reconstruct, visualize and analyze acoustic pressure, velocity and intensity in three dimensions anywhere in the field. With the Prosig / SenSound systems, engineering, design and manufacturing professionals can:
- pinpoint noise sources and transmission paths
- link source images to order tracking or changes over time
- distinguish between structure-borne and airborne noise

Also unique to SenSound is the ability to use the complete sound field model to calculate source or panel contributions to any point in the field and to identify the components of vibro-acoustic modes that are responsible for sound radiation.
