Finding The Analysis That You Need

I’m sure many users will have been in this situation. You need an analysis function, you know it’s in DATS, but you can’t remember where. One of the major strengths of the DATS package is the depth of analysis functions it provides. Unfortunately, when you have a deadline and can’t find the function that you want that isn’t much help. But assistance is at hand…

Let’s consider a scenario. You have some new data and your usual processing isn’t making sense. You’ve showed a colleague and they have suggested using wavelet analysis. Great! You know DATS has wavelet analysis. You remember seeing it in one of the menus when you were looking for something else. But where was it? You curse as you start a methodical look through the menus. But wait…! There’s a quicker way.
