The Institute of Sound & Vibration Research (ISVR) at Southampton University was formed in 1963 and is 50 years old this year. Prosig was founded by staff from the Institute and a number of ISVR staff and students have worked at Prosig over the years. Several current staff members have their roots at the ISVR and Prosig provide a student project prize every year.
The anniversary is being marked by celebrations at the University on 11th and 12th July. Several Prosig staff will be attending and are looking forward to meeting up with old friends and making new ones.
